Each Square Hand-Stitched – v3

God’s plan, evolving in me
each strand joined
each square hand-stitched
making a tapestry,
a salad, a quilt, a melting,
a blending, a coming together
in the hands of our Creator
our Savior, the Potter
on the wings of the Spirit
God’s breath living within me
the light burning brightly
There is Hope in the turning
the grafting of my twig
joined in the vine
leading me to sing
to want to live, to serve
to join with the others
the fabric God is stitching
now, here on earth

Each Square Hand-Stitched
post by Pastor Ruth on her Facebook page:
“Happy to be a "home spun" quilt that God is creating rather than a manufactured one that the world creates.”

posted to my Facebook wall, August 11, 2011:
“FB REPOST… Jacob was a cheater, Peter had a temper, David had an affair, Noah got drunk, Jonah ran from God, Paul was a murderer, Gideon was insecure, Miriam was a gossiper, Martha was a worrier, Thomas was a doubter, Sara was impatient, Elijah was moody, Moses stuttered, Zaeccheus was short, Abraham was old, and Lazarus was dead.... Now, what's YOUR excuse? Can God use you or not? - ~~~ God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the CALLED!”
