Wanting to capture
To give the words life
Seeing the beauty
The precision
Magic in the prose
Cut and paste
Letting go of the old
Pulling edits in and leaving chaff out
Not a criticism of myself
Working to fix, to perfect
Creating new
Losing voice
Gaining strength
Struggle for balance
New eyes needed still
Structure and time
Dig into it
Next time better
More fully revealing
