He Will Come Again – v4

Christ our Lord and Savior

seated beside the Father

raised from the pit, Sheol.

Seated on High, in heaven,

waiting for God’s hour.

The fulfillment of scripture

is not yet here, completed,

for He will come again.

That is the promise, the hope

for us all, those who claim His name.

That Christ will come again

and finish the work He began.

We continue, in this time and place

until all are able, reconciled,

to God, if we believe.
