Show me the Garden, Lord – v3

I can only see the wall, Lord,

not the beautiful garden behind it;

I don’t see the gate, the door,

that God is planning to open.

 

Show me the garden, Lord,

behind the wall of my circumstances;

Open the door only You can

to a place of abundance, overflowing,

 

My vision is so weak, Lord,

I need new eyes, glasses;

I stare at the darkness, the ground,

when my hope is living in heaven.

 

Shine into my life, Lord,

lift the scales from my eyes;

Make a way through my darkness,

to a place of abundance, overflowing.

 

Amen.
