the light of a simple candle

piercing the world’s darkness

shining brightly, urgently,

the light of Jesus Christ.

 

the light a simple candle

making all the difference

shining, shattering the chaos

the lies of this broken world.

 

the light of a simple candle

seemingly small, weakness,

but shining ever so brightly

the light of Jesus Christ.
