none of us deserves grace
we all deserve death
the wages of our sin
the choices in our life.
none of us deserves grace
but for the sacrifice of Christ
stepping in, climbing,
our own rugged cross.
none of us deserves grace
for it is a gift by definition
we are redeemed from damnation
all eternity in Hell.
