If Uriah had lived, if he had survived,
how would the story be different,
would he have killed him,
the line of David,
would he have taken
Bathsheba back as his wife…
If Uriah had lived, if he had survived,
how would the story be different,
the king confronted, reviled
openly in the courts,
a struggle for power,
maybe even a death…
If Uriah had lived, if he had survived,
how would the story be different,
would he have taken up arms,
against the king, King David,
would he have taken
Bathsheba back as his wife…
