by Mikhail Bulgakov, where Pilate is spending eternity, not in heaven or hell,
but trying to wash the innocent blood Jesus Christ from his hands.
This poem is transferring that same nightmarish judgment on Vladimir Putin
for the innocent blood of the people of Ukraine...

With our bodies, our spirits,
we scream into the abyss,
crying out in the end times,
for God, for our Savior, our King,
feeling the darkness at the gate,
Ready to devour, to consume us….
 
With all that we are, fully,
we scream into the abyss,
praying for salvation, for life,
for God’s presence, His breath,
that the Devil must be held at bay
That Satan must be vanquished…

In this moment of madness,
we scream into the abyss,
crying out in the End Times,
for God, for our Savior, our King.
 
We feel Darkness at the gate,
ready to devour, to consume us….
 
In this moment of madness,
we scream into the abyss,
praying for salvation, for life,
for God’s presence, His breath.
 
The Devil must be held at bay,
Satan must be vanquished…
 
In this moment of madness,
we scream into the abyss,
crying out to our God,
that He would save us.
 
Christ will descend again,
In power, in victory…

He claimed the Mark of the Beast - v3

I struggled not to stare
to try to sneak the image
that mark on his face emboldened
seeking attention, the look.
 
He claimed the Mark of the Beast
the ancient sacred digits
the sign of the end times tattooed
a cry for help, a curse,
a conversation started.
 
Forever marked by these digits
out loud, front and center,
a curse, a warning, written,
proclaimed for all to see.
 
Stopping for a moment 
Drawn to the digits, 
the Mark of the Beast,
asking him why,
A grin his reply.

He claimed the Mark of the Beast

fighting the armies of heaven

fighting the armies of heaven

attacking the temple

the signs of the anti-christ

loosed on the world

a precursor, a wanna be

the one from Syria

rising to challenge

the people of God

others would rise

from Austria, to murder

to exterminate God’s people

but they were vanquished

the anti-christ still yet to come

these just warnings

the end times soon coming

when the battle will be raging

the anti-christ

these visions, these dreams

long before Christ

foretelling the anti-christ

the end times

seal up the vision

to terrible, the future

the times we live in

or so it now seems

too much of the visions

the dreams of the prophets

unfolding, coming true

not wanting to see

the anti-Christ coming

as foreseen by the prophet

hate for God’s people

a scourge on the earth
