Extravagant Love

Of Man, of Woman
of the King
We see the prodigal son,
the fatted calf
we see the fragrant oil
washing of his feet,
anointing his head,
the washing with tears,
wiping with her hair
uncommon, extravagant gifts
poured out in love
Lessons before the sacrifice
of the lamb
that Passover
Long ago
