Mary, Mary

Such a gift, such cost
Spending, saving
expensive oil
special gift
burial oils, precious oils
Pour them out
at the Master’s feet
in love, awareness
of the teacher’s journey
foretelling the days ahead
the cross, the cave
Fragrant oil, anointing
the servant king
the Messiah, while he lived
