Like precious threads, woven together
so is the church, the body of Christ
Each one of us a precious thread,
essential for completing the loving picture
the reflection of our God, of the Savior
An image of God, each one of us,
each a part of God’s wondrous creation,
of His wonderful plan,
together a beautiful tapestry,
a loving fabric, to be used
to warm the hearts of those in need
to wrap around those crying out
Let each one of us, feel our call
fall into the loom of the master artist
join our fellow disciples
and become the precious thread
we were meant to be
woven with love
into the image of God
here and now, in this world
