Grace to love us
for simply being
for merely existing
desiring a loving communion
relationship with us
as in the Garden
so long ago
before choices estranged us
from His presence
Relentless love
pursuing, chasing,
offering itself to us
A prayer of healing
in His outstretched hand
waiting for us
as a father holds out a hand
for a young child
before they reach for his
So is the world before God
Not seeing, rejecting, ignoring
the ready hand of relentless love
