A named member
the family of God
we each are claimed by God
brought back into relationship
reconciled to our loving father
as at the beginning of the world’s story
and with numbered days, known
before we take our first breath
Never giving up on us,
never turning away
Hands outstretched, reaching
for us, always
Ready when we reach,
each time we fall
