As they lived, so we eat
from one pot, each given a portion
as they need, their daily bread
a common prayer, a place set for all
our offering, our ministry
as they lived, in the Way
lives, fortunes, hopes shared
from all to all, family style
doing but a small part
seeing Christ in their need
being Christ in this small place
