The pathway, the narrow way
through the fires of life
the challenges, the moments of strife
the pain, the sorrow, the struggles
It is through these flames, this refining fire
under the eye of the smithy
we walk, we journey
we travel by faith
Watch over me Lord
each step of my way
testing me, steel me
for the work you would have me do
guide me through the fires
from the east, from the west
and bring me safely home
