Among the select
standing on the mountain
beside the Christ, in shimmering white,
as the cloud descended over us
A voice from above, from out of the cloud
claiming the master, the Son of Man
His son, the Beloved, the living Messiah
An admonition to listen when he speaks
Standing apart on the mountain
the mystery continuing, revealed
only to the few of us
his identity sealed, by his command
Commanded to be silent
until he rises from the dead,
whatever that means, following our master
down from the mountain
