Through the fires, through the waters
the storms of life, God is with us
He who created all that is, all that way, all to come
there before the beginning, after the end
He who knows our days, before we are born
who has numbered our hairs on our heads
there with us along the way, the journey
the trials of life, through the waters,
through the refining fires
so we may find our way
so we may reflect him
his image, our lives
reflecting God
in the world
