Turkeys, a pair, maybe more in the bushes
sailing, low-flying across the highway
oblivious, unaware
filling my windshield, the horizon line
climbing the hill
more gliding than flying,
not a care in the world
ignoring the speeding traffic
that could easily ruin their days
