The church, a grapevine
entwined branches
abiding in God
Being love, nurturing
welcoming children
caring for one another
the vine, branches, twigs,
creating lush living fruit
full grapes, for the harvest
Living as the vine, the body
our brothers, sisters
all part of the vine
growing together, as one
lives knitted together
following the example
the love of our brother
the risen Christ
fully abiding in the vine.
