In the cacophony of human lives
so many stimuli, so much information
drowning us, polluted waters, our daily grind
dots and dashes, a blizzard
noise deafening
Needing the quiet, the stillness
sabbath rest, away from the world
entering into a place, a spirit
able to listen for, to hear the voice of God
living waters, pouring down
washing over us,
quenching our thirst
