Our troubles, our doubts
all of our sin
all can be laid down
at the foot of the cross
left, no longer carried
chaff cast in the fire
Blameless before God
our stain washed,
removed by his blood
our pain healed
the balm of his tears
our not knowing
what we had done
Able to rise
from our knees
where we had fallen
because he rose.
Serving, going
as we are called
because he promised
to come again
