His Prayer Path

Not so much a place
the garden, Gethsemane
Christ walking in prayer
humbly following the Lord

Long before that night
his face set on Jerusalem
going though he knew the price
taking on all of our sin
that we would be redeemed

All of his prayers for this time
steeled to follow God’s will
the journey leading to the cross
forgiving us there even still
