Preparing Our Soil

Sowing, planting
praying, waiting
for a time of God’s choosing
our faith in the persistence
our prayers unceasing
in the patience in our waiting
trusting in the Lord

The growth to come
answers to our seeking
calling out to God
in the way of his grace
in his mercy revealed
his love unending
raining down on us
