Grace awakens us
heals us from ourselves
the epiphany of conviction
when we see the Christ
The grace already around us
yet we have no eyes to see
the scales, the lights, the chaos
what the world would have us see
The moment of awakening
when we open the door
letting Christ enter in
in this we are restored
From that foreign country
in the pen with the pigs
rising to be a servant
falling into the arms of God
