A shrewdness in the lesson
turning the words right around
a challenge to the expert
to truly understand
the living word of God
The definition of our neighbors
turned around
to focus on us
not by a subdivision,
but by our actions
here on earth
each of us to be a neighbor
offering them
God’s endless love
poured out
from our actions
lifting them up
from the dust of the earth
