Wait until it arrived

The disciples of two minds
lost at his rising
waiting for the coming
the Spirit He promised
with hope of its arrival
but having to wait
to a time of God’s choosing
praying in the temple
worshipping God ever
for the provision,
His fulfilling
of all of His promises
waiting, trusting
in our sovereign God
