Walking sorrowful
Christ lost,
not in the tomb,
our Savior gone
Walking homeward
to Emmaus
lost in thought
darkness upon us
A stranger, unaware
yet knowing Christ
law, prophets, scripture
opened to us
Christ with us
breaking our bread
alive, with us
Running with joy
to tell the others
Christ is alive!
