The journey of our Advent
in this time before Christmas
crying out for generosity
in this season of want
yet so much excess
the lights, rushing
from store to store
racing with our neighbor
Where is Jesus,
the babe, the Christ-child
where is the man
who healed humanity
where is compassion,
love, generosity
