Peace on this journey

Peace on this journey
peace from within
when we heed the Spirit’s calling
when we let God in
Only in our healing
the gift of our God
only in that moment
are we calm in the storm

Peace on this journey
through Adventide
longing for the Christ-child
for the coming of the king
wanting to be near him
wanting to rise on wings
to heaven’s gates above
wanting to share his mercy
his love here below
