the Father of many nations

A legacy in covenant
a promise from God
to the Father of us all
Father Abraham
the Father of many nations
a legacy of love
if he walked before God
in he was blameless in his sight
a legacy of family
descends one and all
together we too
are to answer God’s call
to walk in his way
to follow where he leads
blameless before the judgment
to the mercy seat
