A word of our baptism
a word John spoke by the Jordan
repent and believe
change to the path
to the way of the cross
with service and compassion
all the days of our lives
caring for our neighbors
loving our God, tireless
with an urgency in this life, purpose
sharing the message, freedom
released from our chains
freed by the love of Jesus
and the grace of our living God
