Please, oh please
catch it (and not wear it)
So were my thoughts
(I can’t speak for others)
rushing through my mind as I
played it,
jellyfish toss
with the circle, teenagers
my newfound friends,
at the edge of the sea,
the cold Atlantic
Dripping goo and
stinging cells,
who knew the risks;
but we were definitely
careful, oh so careful.
Toss it gently, please.
