Before He was the Good
Shepherd,
he was the carpenter’s son,
We can learn much,
From the Carpenter, even as
the fishermen did,
after his rising.
Cutting with the grain,
planing the boards level,
sanded smooth, measuring,
planning, drafting and
redrafting, before the first
cut,
long before the nailing.
Being the hands, using the
tools,
the skills, the blueprint,
for this work and their
lives.
Following the plans of the Carpenter
and his heavenly Father,
Creator, the Master Architect.
