estrangement from God
understood in the graphic
language
vomit from our hearts
burning our friends, our
neighbors
acid burns, not love
spewing such bile
Choices which we make
some selfish, some
careless
our words and our actions
leaving acid burns
scars on our friends
marks on our neighbors
those we claim to love
a false mirror on our God
from those who claim his
name
