I saw my Savior
there on the shoreline
knowing I’m not worthy
yet He came to me
I held my Savior
descended from heaven
his body heavy
as we entered the water
I held my Savior
washed in the Jordan
up from the waters
redeemed to new life
I held my Savior
lifting the Christ
the Spirit descended
bodily, like a dove,
I held my Savior
readied for service
into the world
the Lamb come to save us
