A rock thrown in a pond,
full force, or maybe, just
maybe,
thousands of pebbles,
hurled,
dropped, sprinkled, skipped
randomly,
or even gently coaxed into
the water
ripples, reverberating,
echoing,
growing into a groundswell,
building,
a tsunami, enough force
within them
to change the face of the
planet
to change the discussion
at least for a day
onto one topic
where we live
this planet
the place
we call
home
