By obeying God’s command
we love God, becoming his children
when we love God, we love others
all his children, all people on earth
God’s love is shown through us
we become mere vessels
earthenware bowls
to continue the blessing
Emptied that we are filled
to share God’s love richly
to all people, inclusive
to the ends of the earth
