My prayer lifted
You, oh God
my spirit thirsts for you
like water for my body
needed to survive
my spirit longs
for you deep inside
your Spirit within me
to guide my trembling
feet
my path in you
in the way of the Christ
following the One
who boldly gave himself
who humbly went to the
cross
like water for my body
needing you, your love
your Spirit within me
