By obeying His command
we love God, becoming His children
we honor God’s grace, our joy
when we love God, we love the others
all His children, all people on earth
God’s love is shown through us
we become mere vessels
earthenware bowls, open,
emptied that we are filled
to continue the blessing
We become the vessels
the earthen jars ready
to share God’s love richly
to all people, inclusive,
to the ends of the earth
