Christ sowed the seeds
the words of creation
words of love, parables,
planted in our hearts
Christ pulled the weeds
demons that oppressed us
the things that get in
the way
burdens upon our lives
Christ pruned the dead
the suckers draining us
cutting away all else
the kept us from God
Christ is the gardener
watching over us
living springs of water
to raise up the garden
a harvest unto God
