Alone,
bone-tired
on the
mountain
sensing the
calling of God
trembling,
shaken
exposed,
naked
not wanting
to look upon
the face of
God
The
mountain crumbled around me
torn away
by Almighty God
whipped by
the winds
shaken by
the earthquake
Standing
exposed
on the
mountain
before the
presence of God
A gentle
whisper
the way of
God’s power
speaking to
us
His words
of life
not in
anger, in fire
in a gentle
whisper
to our
souls.
