like a seed in the ground – v4

each growing, hidden
a life emerging
already formed, complete
like a seed in the ground
a kernel hidden
waiting to burst forth
to expand, to grow
a new life, complete

gathered in its season
a harvest, a jewel
a bit of wheat, a harvest
joy, awakening
coming to the surface
rising on the breeze
held in a loving hand
a wonder to be seen
