an impediment to
salvation
a shadow on the light
we stand in the way
a stumbling block to them
in our times of division
when we are not one
one mind, one body
one people in Christ
weakening the cross
the ability to save them,
those who have not heard
who have not heard the
message
the truth of Christ
of God’s sacrifice
when we divide
when we become factions
fragments, schisms
not the one body
of God, of Christ
the kingdom splintered
consuming itself
fractured, impotent
not able to share God
weakening the cross
the glory of God
