Carrying a piece
of the holy Christ child
the Spirit within, abiding
guiding my feet of clay
Leading me on this journey
the road, the way, the path
teaching me words to share
in the gifts God alone
imparts
Calling me from my rest
my complacency in life
to go and spread the news
