Children's message by Pastor Ruth Foss, Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church, October 5, 2014

Children’s message 10/5/2014
contemporaneous notes

a cough drop and a mint

-         we sometimes get a dry feeling in our throats
-         dry and parched feeling
-         there is a place you can go to drink as much as you want
and never be thirsty again
-         Jesus gives living water to our spirit
-         as we drink, we get more of Jesus in us
-         we won’t be parched
-         if we walk away, we will become thirsty again
-         only Jesus can fill that place, that thirst
-         when filled, we can be poured out on others
to quench the thirst they have
-         the living water of Jesus
-         as long as we keep Jesus in our lives,
we will never be thirsty again

Prayer
– Help us to abide in Him,
to live in Him, and to never be thirsty again.

-          the green color is not the true color
