yet I am not silenced by the darkness – v2

in spite of my pain,

my current situation,

this time in my life

my sense that God is not with me

that He doesn’t hear my cries

that my prayers are unanswered

when I find no peace

yet I am not silenced

by the darkness, this life

for I know deep within me

that God is by my side

that He will answer

in God’s own time
