an open question
who it belonged to
getting joy in claiming
it as ours now
so telling, indicative
of a corrupt spirit
willing to claim more
than was our due.
we are not to judge her
that was for Jesus;
but he chose forgiveness
mercy instead
Hiding the treasure
we have been given
buying the field
claiming it as our own.
