All of this changing

the tableau of springtime

like a cascade of color

all variations of greens

from the brightest

to the warmest

alive this morning

shining through the fog

a taste evolving

in the day dawning

The mist of the morning

giving up its secrets

the forest alive and vibrant

from grasses, ferns,

up to the tree tops

The tableau of the morning

alive with wonder

a taste evolving

dawning, morphing,

leading to summer
