All of this changing,
quickly
like a crescendo, a wave
a cascade of color, warming
all variations of greens
from the brightest to the
warmest
alive in this morning
shining through the fog
The mist of the morning
giving up its secrets
the forest alive and vibrant
from grasses, ferns,
up to the very tree tops
the tableau of the morning
alive with spring wonder
