The metaphor for
our lives
the Vine, like the
womb,
the umbilical cord,
connection;
but more than this,
eternal
never to be
severed, never cut;
the vine a part of
us, lifelong
feeding us, giving
us strength
A connection to
God, eternal
to one another, a
family of faith;
living in, abiding
in the vine
abiding in God, in
the love of God;
a Mother God, in
the nature of the vine
helping us bear
fruit, a harvest
the
message for a hungry world
